Parameters

Description

In use

This switch defines the visibility of the analog setpoint in smartWARE Program and the visualization.
If the switch is active, the analog setpoint is displayed according the format and together with the unit and the icon, which are defined in 'Inputs and outputs'.

Setpoint type

This selection defines a setpoint type. Possible selections are:

  • Step setpoint defines a setpoint change as a jump at the beginning of the section

  • Ramp setpoint defines a setpoint change as a ramp over the segment time to the setpoint of the next segment. If there is no next segment or no next setpoint, the setpoint remains at its value.

  • Section start value defines a setpoint as ramp start value in the program section. The associated ramp end value is defined via 'Setpoint Link' and 'Setpoint'.

  • Section end value Defines a setpoint as ramp end value in the program section. No ‘Setpoint link’ is required here.

Min. value

This value defines the smallest possible input value for the analog setpoint.

The input is made in base unit.

Max. value

This value defines the largest possible input value for the analog setpoint.

The input is made in base unit.

Behavior at invalid actual value

This selection defines the program behavior in case of an invalid actual value. Possible selections are:

  • Program stop

  • Program continuation

  • Program abort

Setpoint link 1/2

Each of these selections define an interaction when the setpoint input value is accepted. Possible selections are:

  • ‘No link’ (default) defines that no interaction takes place

  • ‘Only one valid setpoint’ means that the defined ‘Setpoint’ is deleted when the setpoint is entered.

Setpoint 1/2

Each of these selections defines a setpoint with which the defined interaction, takes place.

The analog setpoints must be configured in the JUMO smartWARE Setup variTRON. They can be found as follows:
